My First Year Leading WFH Alliance

My First Year Leading WFH Alliance

Reflecting on a year of connection, learning, and community — with a look ahead to 2026

Year One: Reflecting on My First Year Leading WFH Alliance

WFH Alliance has been around for years, supporting contact center leaders as remote and hybrid work reshaped our industry.

About a year ago, I stepped into the role of leading the organization — with a focus on building on that foundation while expanding how leaders connect, learn, and share with one another.

Here’s a look back at what we achieved in 2025, and what’s ahead in 2026.

2025 Highlights

Bringing Leaders Together (In Person + Virtual)

In 2025, WFH Alliance focused heavily on connection, both in person and virtual.

We hosted two in-person conferences:

  • St. Paul (May)
  • Denver (November)

Alongside those events, we continued holding monthly virtual meetings, kept intentionally small to encourage real conversation.

Across both formats, the goal was the same:

  • Practitioner-led sessions grounded in real experience
  • Honest discussion and shared problem-solving
  • Space for leaders to compare notes and learn from one another

What stood out most was the peer-to-peer learning — leaders realizing they weren’t alone in the challenges they are navigating.

New Website + Community Forum

In 2025, we launched a new WFH Alliance website with a built-in Community forum — a place where leaders can connect between events to ask questions, share resources, and learn from peers facing similar challenges.

Training + Benchmarking

We launched our first structured training program, Transforming Frontline Leaders, and launched the 2025 Remote Work Benchmarking Survey to bring more practical, peer-based insight into how remote and hybrid contact centers are evolving.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Expanded Learning Programs + WFH Alliance Academy

In 2026, we’re expanding training and learning opportunities, including:

  • Transforming Frontline Leaders
  • AI + Human Synergy: Leading the AI-Enabled Contact Center
  • The CX Onboarding Playbook (4-week program)
  • Find It Faster: Knowledge Management Essentials for High-Performing CX Teams

We’re also launching WFH Alliance Academy — a centralized learning hub that will include free e-learning courses, courses included with paid membership, and premium courses for deeper development.

Two In-Person Conferences in 2026

  • St. Paul | June 1–2, 2026
  • Austin, TX | Early November 2026

Both events are open to speaker and sponsor proposals, with a continued focus on real-world, peer-driven content and meaningful connection.

If you’re interested in speaking or sponsoring, email us at info@wfhalliance.com.

A Quick Thank You — and an Invitation

Stepping into this role wouldn’t have been possible without the foundation that already existed, or without the leaders who continue to show up, participate, and share openly.

If you’ve attended an event, joined a discussion, completed a survey, or followed along over the past year, thank you.

And if you’re looking for a place to learn, contribute, or connect with peers navigating similar challenges, I’d love for you to be part of what we’re building next at WFH Alliance — whether that’s attending, contributing, or simply joining the conversation.
